Perfect fit for a 2004 corolla. Installed in 10 minutes, uses existing holes with welded nuts. Just thread the 4 bolts and torque them down. Did not have to modify exhaust or anything. Only recessed about 1-1/2 inch behind bumper face. So any ball mount with the proper shank size would do.

Quality product with good fitment, however this bolts into threaded blind holes in the frame rail, probably welded nut- cant get or see the backside. If you're unfortunate like me, you live where road salt ruins your vehicles before their natural death. So, what I would recommend is going to HW store and buying a 12mm 1.25 pitch bolt and tap and cleaning up each hole. It took me awhile with quarter turns to tap out each hole, thought I had ripped the threads out of one but all ended up usable.

the package had been opened and re=taped and they did not make sure the bolts were still in the package. I have a very expensive trailer hitch with no way to install it... Now a very expensive paper weight.

We bought this quite a while ago & have been very pleased with it. Easy to install, even on cars not made to tow anything. It has been very convenient & well worth the price!

I’ve had fitment issues in the past with other vehicles & Curt hitch products not fitting when the fitment guide claimed they fit. I keep buying Curt hitches (this is the sixth one…) because they are just so nicely made. The welds are excellent; the finish is superb, the overall quality and appearance has always been top shelf, etc… and the random fitment issues have always been remedied swiftly. That is why I keep buying more of them, in fact the last hitch I ordered for a different car a few weeks ago didn’t fit and I was able to quickly return it and replace it with a different model that fit perfectly.This hitch was excellent right out of the box on the first try. It bolted right in easily without any complications or fitment issues. If you have a 10th generation Corolla (‘08-‘13 in the US) then this is the hitch for you. It was so easy to install that a novice could’ve done it. I highly recommend this hitch and I am 100% satisfied with it.

great quality. Wiring easily installed on 2007 Corolla. Had mechanic install hitch as I couldn't get bolts into holes underneath because of protective undercoating
