I will freely admit: I thought these were bigger. I just totally estimated wrong. So, they showed up and I was like 'oh, no...what can I do with these??'Answer: SO MANY THINGS.Don't let these little guys fool you: they're strong, hold an impressive amount of weight for their size, and are surprisingly versatile! You can clip them to something and use the hook to hang something, or clip something and hang it with the hook. They sometimes stick a little bit when you try to open the clip side, but it's not difficult to get them popped open...I tested hanging things of all sizes, weights, and thicknesses, and found that these are strong enough to work inside and out (within reason - they aren't going to hold down your sunshade, but they're great for hanging string lights or seasonal decor on the porch or in windows... I use them in the kitchen to hang utensils, I've used them to hang-dry little things like socks or washcloths...I can't tell you what a 'happy accident' these turned out to be, in the end. If you're looking for a great-quality, truly multi-purpose little household clip (where are my other organization nerds?! XD ), you can't go wrong with these!

We have lots of clips like these to hang velvet curtains throughout the house.These are ever-so-slightly smaller than the ones I've bought before, but they get the job done, but more suitable for less thick curtains.

These are small but so useful. I love finding ways to store things where I can see and access them but where they’re also out of the way. These let you keep track of small items just about anywhere. I can hang my washcloth in the shower so it doesn’t accidentally fall on the ground, I can hang my potholders in the kitchen so I always know where they are, I can keep track of all kinds of things!

You know the kind of things you never realize you needed until you see them? These clips fall into that category. They're tiny and lightweight, which would make them great for displaying photos or holiday cards, decorations that aren't too heavy, or just about anything you'd need to hang from a string or very narrow rod. I plan to use some of them "upside down" to clip Mardi Gras beads to my curtains this month. Great find, and at a dime apiece (as of this 2/2025 review), you really can't beat it.

These are very tiny. My only complaint is that the finish on them makes them stick the first time you use them and you have to pinch hard to open them. These have a nice strong clamp once you get them open. We are using them to train plants and they are perfect for this application.

These low profile little hooks are just what I was looking for to hang my tea towel curtains on a small kitchen window. I tried small rings but they were too wide and rubbed against the window frame leaving a black mark all the way across. These are open ended and hook snuggly over the rod, and fit nothing larger in diameter than a standard #2 pencil. They have great grip, are easy to open, and hold strong. They would be great for many applications/crafts around the house.

I really don't use these clips to hold up my curtains. I use the clips to attach a table skirt the surrounds my train layout. The clips firmly attach a one-quarter inch plywood to dress up my layout. The jaws really clamp the material to the plywood for a really nice look. I guess these clips will hold curtains on a rod, but these clips have multiple uses increasing their value around the house.
