These tiebacks are great! They are not too heavy so they pull down on the panels, but they are substantial enough so they don't get lost in the curtains. The tassel is full with a nicely sized braided rope and the color I purchased, charcoal, is a rich, beautiful gray. I liked them so much, I actually ordered a 2nd set just so I have a spare. I would purchase these again without hesitation.NOTE: I did notice that almost all of the negative reviews were for an older style tieback.. perhaps they weren't the greatest, but the new(er) style seem to have almost all positive reviews, unless the size didn't work for them..
