The main reason for two stars is the quality. The gain for the pickups is very narrow. In other words, only about 20% of the range of the knob makes a difference. The tone knob is the same way, and not much variance.The other part of my issue with these pots is that my guitar used a thinner and longer shaft, but I made it work. My pots measure around 5/16" in diameter, and about 1/2" long from the base of the threads.I believe these are around 3/8" in thickness and maybe around 7/16" long.My knobs would also not fit these posts.Good luck!

This is a good kit the only thing I do differently is I use a Mojotone .047 paper in oil tone capacitor for a broader tone capability.

Not CTS pots says mojo on pot. After going back to review listing it says CTS in title but after looking really close the pic has mojo pots.
