These clamps seem relatively heavy duty, but they sure don't look like stainless steel to me, which honestly doesn't matter much in the short term.One tooth is large and the other 2 are smaller and don't make contact until you crimp. Not sure of this is an optimal design or notAlso, I received 5 large and 7 small. Not 6 and 6.With my crimping tool from OTC all of these deformed and broke.

Once you figure it out and have the crimping tool to finish the job you can understand why they use them and how durable they are. Get the crimping tool, some of them come with these bands. Get the crimping tool, did I mention get the crimping tool.

Update: Two clamps have broken with 8 hours of install. Both were from metal breaking at crimp and stress point. Metal must be very brittle to do this, don’t recommend! Oh yes, 40 years mechanic, I know what I am doing. The part was late and caused me to juggle work and needed car. Was pretty pissed, but the clamp ended up being the width and one I needed

Worked very well. Just need to make sure that you have the clamp as tight as possible before crimping. Otherwise it won't be tight enough. Excellent value.
