I installed this on a Baja mini bike with a 6.5hp Honda clone engine. I replaced clutch and chain. I was able to install without lifting the engine. I had to reengineer the chain guard.Tip #1 is to adjust the rear pulley to the tightest spring setting before installing, otherwise you mightiest well keep a clutch. The hardest part is removing and installing the snap ring.Tip #2 when installing the left pulley, make sure the flat side of the 1st piece is facing out, against the belt. Someone said that this unit was eating belts, flipping this part will cause this.Tip #3 the belt goes on left pulley, than slip over the right. The directions don't say it well but the flat side of the belt goes against the engine making the beveled side out. In my case the writing on the belt was facing so you could read it. Get this belt backwards and it'll eat the belt and slip.Tip #4 use a large strap wrench to tighten the left pulley and a impact to tighten the right.Tip #5 Put blue lock tight on all fasteners.Tip #6 You might have to cut the front part of the plastic cover to clear engine bolts, and you need to slot the rear for chain clearance.

TC went on a golf buggy I converted from electric to gasoline, behind a predator 212. Bolts up directly to the 212 that was for sale last summer (so I presume it will bolt up to this new "improved" one) and has stayed tight and trouble free since Aug '22. It did eat a belt but I think that was more operator error than defect. I probably shouldn't've tried to drive up out of a steep ravine hauling half a cord of firewood (It made it, but the belt was toast LOL) I knew going in I'd probably fry the belt, but the rest of the TC took it like a pro. This item is a definite buy for me. I'll be getting more of them as friends find dead golf carts they want me to convert.

Everything was there, nothing missing or damaged, but I do think it would make a better sale if it did have the option to have a 5/8 to 3/4 sleeve for the primary clutch, but other than that it's worth buying

Good product look good, sturdy well made. Down fall is for some reason it eats up the belts I've followed the instructions and it still eats up belts I say it's a waste if it actually worked then yes I'll give 5 starts but not today I've tried adjusting it and still doesn't work right.

1 Year Update: still going strong. I don’t ride it a lot but it has held up well. Not much wear on the belt at all.Installed in my Coleman RT200. It did require customization. I did not want to raise the engine so I cut the mounting plate to fit. Even so I was only able to get 2 bolts to line up. I used two diagonally across and added loctite. I'm not sure you can get all four bolts on the rt200. Seemed to be hitting the oil filler cap when I tried aligning it for all the bolts. Also removed the heatsheild to make it fit. Some people say you shouldn't because it helps with cooling. Should be fine IMO. Bike went from 25mph to now doing 37mph. Adjusted governor screw and it now goes 40-42 max.

Some parts pre assembled. **check fitment of backing plate for obstructions ie;bolt heads. or oil fill cap **preventing plate to fit flat and straight. Good quality.item Great price. for fit on a 212 predator engine

This worked just fine. You will most likely need to get matching hardware for your existing bolt holes in your engine, also get some 3/4 ID machine washers to align the drive pulley with the driven pulley or you will chew up belts.
