I was pleasantly suprised that the torpedo shaped dart worked for me. I've been trying different types. I had to purchased additioanl points (tips) because I was playing a lot. This is common with most soft tip darts. They are very affordable. It feels heavy in a good way. It flies firmly and it is easier for me to aim with my arthritic joints. It helped me with throwing the dart with my wrist versus pushing the dart with my arm toward the dart board. This one hits the bullseye with me.

Nothing over the top about these darts but the extra pieces are great to have and the case is nice!

I spent more money on a different, prettier set and I like this one much better. Better accuracy, nice feel in the hands. Balanced. I enjoy not having to worry about the flies coming off. The shorter base is great for my smaller female hands. They seem durable and I don't think I need to get "o" rings to keep them tightly assembled like I do others. The weight was perfect for me. I tend to throw heavier handed. I didn't have any issues with breaking tips like I usually do. Tips stayed straight and stuck well in the board. I'd recommend this set for any beginner
