The cap can keep the keyhole away from rain, snow, moisture, dust and rust protection.
Push-to-lock design allow you to lock the tow receiver without key, after hearing "click", please pull the lock head to ensure it is working.
1/4 turn the key to unlock. Take off the pin from the receiver hole, then done. The key can be removed when unlocking.

My wife uses a mobility scooter that we transport using a cargo carrier on our car. Around town, I don't worry about it, but when we travel, I worry about it being stolen when we stay overnight in motels. I have not used this as of yet, but it appears to be of good quality materials. The lock works smoothly and swivels on the end of the stud for easy access. It includes the 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch studs.

I recently purchased this hitch receiver pin lock. It's a good value for the price. It fits a little loose in my receiver, but once you hear the click you know it is locked. To make sure it's locked, pull on it a couple of times. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because when I pulled it out of the hitch, the rubber O-Ring tried to slip off. I can see myself losing it eventually.

Perfect. Replaces my old one which's key way was on the tip of the pin, and difficult to access, way too close to the cable connecter bracket.On this one, the perpendicular locking end can flip around, giving you many angle options to fit in the key.

this seems to work well. I have a tesla Y and the electrical plug is quite close to the hitch. I have hitch pins where the key needs to go in the end. These did not work on the tesla Y so, I needed a lock where the key went in perpendicular to the pin. This seems to be working fine.
