Current description for the baroque bow incorrectly says it has a "leather wrapped grip over silver lapping." It has no wrapping. Other than that: The bow appears to be real, high-grade snake wood. Camber of the upper third of mine is flat, not continuously arched in the true baroque style. Nevertheless, the bow has the light and lively feel of a baroque bow. For the price I certainly recommend it to anyone interested in experimenting with a baroque-style bow.

Overall, the bow feels nice and has a proper balance and lightweight to it. It doesn't quite get as much of a curve as one might expect from the stick. The biggest nuisance is that the first bow I got was missing the endpiece in the picture. I ordered a replacement- and that bow was also missing an endpiece!

A nice bow! 2 inches shorter than my other bow. 1/2 ounce lighter, so the tip is real responsive! I like it. Seems to be of good quality. Keep looking up ! Ken.
