I love almost everything XHDATA does.Inexpensive and they just work very well.I have every radio XHDATA made. That says a lot.I won't go in-depth for an AM FM WB pocket radio, but great reception on all bands and XHDATA always exceeds my expectations.

I bought this radio exclusively for listening to NOAA weather stations. I like the radio, but it has some flaws that mar the listening experience. On the weather band, particularly with weaker signals, there are some low-level internally generated spurious tones that vary in frequency which come and go. Clearly audible and annoying. Sensitivity on the WX band is good, though. Reception on FM is very good, AM less so, but that can be forgiven as there is only so much room for an internal ferrite antenna. Shortwave is virtually unusable and so I ignore it. The telescoping whip antenna is only about 18 inches or so; I wish it were longer. Audio from the internal speaker sounds tinny, as one would expect. Overall, a decent radio for the price.

Beautiful pocket radio with multiple bands. AM, FM, SW and Weather band. Very sensitive and good audio for such small radio.Was able to listen to distant stations on AM, SW and FM. Picked all four Weather channels with strong signal. Perfect radio to have specially with latest changing Weather patterns. Very good value and perfect pocket radio!

Works incredibly well! - No need to purchase anything else more elaborate. I am very pleased with this item. This Portable Weather Radio is an esssential part of any "Bug Out" Bag! Easy to use! Sound is of exceptional quality. Easy to tune in to local channels.

I purchased this radio for two reasons: (1) One of the reviews indicated it worked very well with great sensitivity, and (2) the price was very cheap. Imagine my disappointment when it would not even receive the closest NOAA Weather Station. This is the PERFECT EXAMPLE of "you get what you pay for!" Maybe I purchased a defective radio. For the price, it's not worth returning...

I am primarily using this radio to listen to talk radio while in the bathroom shaving. It replaced an old Radio Shack radio that stopped working. The small size fits perfectly on a small outlet shelf, and the volume is loud and clear. Will be able to take this radio easily to the patio to listen outside during the summer. And unlike many similar size radios, it only requires 2 AA batteries!

Absolutely amazing reception on FM, AM, Shortwave and Weather bands. Excellent audio quality. Great for daily use or your bug out bag (but be sure to remove the batteries if it's going to be in storage for a while--AA batteries from all brands love to leak all over your gadgets during periods of inactivity). Pleasantly surprised and impressed! At this price point and higher, this little plastic radio has excellent reception on FM,AM,Weather band and EVEN SW! The sound is decent for a little "chip" radio. Excellent bugout or home emergency radio. Definitely worth the price!
