They are multi-stranded steel core strings that produce a warm tone quality with excellent bow response. The core design makes for strings that are very easy to play under the left hand. Helicore Pizzicato bass strings are multi-stranded steel core strings that produce a brighter tone quality. The core design makes for strings that are very easy to play under the left hand. Damping is reduced to create maximum sustain and growl. Scaled to fit 3/4 size bass with a playing length of 41 3/4 inches (1060mm), heavy tension strings will allow for greater projection and volume potential. The HP615 Low-C (extended E) string is only available as a single string and is not part of the HP610 set.

I tune these to standard tuning for a nice light touch. They have very low tension. These are great on the NS Design Wav4 but be sure and get the replacement hipshot tuners for the Wav4.

Ich benutze die Saiten in Normalstimmung auf einem E-Upright und werde nichts anderes mehr verwenden. Für meinen Geschmack genau der richtige Widerstand, sehr angenehmes Handgefühl und ausgewogener Ton.
