chips are perfectly fine. case is better than the silver one cuz the corners aren't as pointy. I doubt it'll survive a 6 foot fall but I'm not afraid to actually carry my chips around in this case. My lock was trash not that I'll ever use it. Overall: would buy 5 more just because when I contacted the seller they sent me the chips that were missing from the set right away.

I bought this as a gift and was generally pleased. Chips look and feel good, with consistent quality and markings. Cards are good plastic ones. I was particularly interested in the case, since I received a different set with an Aluminum case as a gift years ago, and the latches don't seem secure. I'm always expecting the chips to dump out when I pick the case up, so I was particularly interested in good clasps. The over-center latches on this ABS case work perfectly, The only downside was the dealer button, which came off very cheap -- the printing was sloppy so there were extra black blobs and flecks. I ended up making a custom button for the gift to avoid diluting the perceived quality of an otherwise solid kit with this one minor weak point.

I returned a nicer Da Vinci set for this one because my wife didn't want to have monetary values on the chips. While these are way nicer than our old plastic chips and cheaper than the other Da Vinci chips I returned, I don't like how they have a sticker applied to make the pattern. We don't play a lot, so maybe they'll hold over time, but would prefer to not have stickers. The decks of cards are nice, btw. The case is fine; I like the rounded corner design better than other brands.

When I ordered this set, I was fairly certain that it would be good - but I wasn’t prepared for exactly how nice and how well thought out it is. Or how heavy (well over 10lbs all together)!The main portion of the set is of course the collection of 500 chips across 5 different colors. The chips are very nice and a good weight at 11.5 grams each. They have the good feel of clay chips and are likely to be very durable with their composite nature. Beyond the chips, you also get two “plastic†decks - one red and one blue - two dealer shows, dealer/small blind/big blind buttons and the nice carrying case to put it all together. So all you need for a fund home game with a some friends. They’re a big upgrade from the older, smaller set that I previously had.You sometimes get what you pay for - and here you’re paying for a quality set. If you’re looking for a large set of chips and all the pieces to go with it, then look no further!

This is a very nice quality set. The chips are heavy and very well made they stack up very nice. There are 150 gray and white,150 red and white, 100 blue and white, 50 green and white and 50 black and white. There are two decks of cards two cut cards, dealer and blind buttons. All of this incased in a beautiful heavy duty case. This would make an excellent gift for the gamer in your life.

Sturdy case, durable looking chips just the wife didn’t like that the cards were large print so she won’t be using them. Would have been good if manufacture offered this with normal size playing cards.

For the price I thought this would be nicer, this is basically what I expect a $40 set to feel like. The chips are just ok, they’ll do the job. The plastic case is a good design but not as sturdy as metal cases. Wish I had spent an extra $20-$40 for the next level up or just bought the $40 one and gotten basically the same thing.
