  • Mount: vertically, dial facing upward, water flowing upwards. For installing vertically with water flowing downwards, please refer to DAE VM-75P or DAE PD-75 which can be installed in any position, vertically or horizontally, water flowing downwards or upwards, dial facing upwards, downwards or side-way. Not for use of pit application. For outdoor use, please refer to IP68 rated meters like DAE PD-75, PD-75y, U-75, U-75b.
  • For upgraded V-75P, Cloud Metering available (2nd picture) with DAE CC2030 Gateway. CC2030 will collect water usage from DAE AMR (for 16 meters) or AMR130AN (for 1 meter) and send them to cloud server through Ethernet. With PC, cell phone, the landlords can see real time data, monthly water usage & billing reports to their tenants. If there is abnormal usage (ex. Broken piping), an email alert will be sent to your cell phone.
  • For upgraded V-75P, Ready for use with CO-10 (Electronic Pulse Counter) or CO-10 KIT - An inexpensive remote reading solution (6th picture). Can also use with DAE AMR130 (Auto Meter Reading Module for single water meter) and AMR (for 16 water meters) for remote reading (5th picture). CO-10 or AMR130 will be purchased separately. Conforms to both AWWA C700 and ISO 4064 Class C. for City water only.
  • Factory Calibration Certificates available. DAE Controls LLC is a Minority Business. Please feel free to get the NMSDC Minority Supplier Certificate from DAE Controls Website.
  • Accuracy: +/-1.5% within normal flow as per AWWA Standard. Conforms to both AWWA C708 and ISO 4064, for clean water only. Maximum Flow Rate: 20 GPM, Normal Flow Rate: 10 GPM, Minimum Flow Rate: 1/4 GPM. The meter may be damaged if your Continuous flow is more than 10 GPM. DAE V-75 5/8"*3/4" meter is not a meter with a 5/8" inlet and a 3/4" outlet. It is with 3/4" NPT couplings for both 3/4" inlet and 3/4" outlet.

Not NSF61 DAE V series is not NSF61 certified. It is DAE PD series (like PD-75) water meter which is NSF61 certified. CA, VT, MD, LA require all the drinking water meters be NSF61 certified to meet their stringent regulation.

How to read the meter?

Max. Reading: 9,999,999 gallons, Min.Reading:0.005 gallons, The 1st digit from the right has a multiplier of 100 gallons. For example, if you see 01234 on the digits, it is 123400 gallons. The 1st dial under the digits has a multiplier of 10 gallons. The 2nd dial under the digits is in gallon. Reading of listing is 78.165 gallons.

Non-Return-Valve

Back Flow Prevention Valve

You must have back-flow-prevention valve in your piping system, or the reading of CO-10, Cell phone/PC may be more than the reading of water meter due to the backflow. Non-Return-Valve (like NRVMJ-75 for MJ-75R), an in-expensive backflow prevention valve to be installed at the outlet of water meter.

To securely transfer metering data for DAE Cloud Metering Solutions on Water, please use UL2464 cable to extend connection between water meters (have about 4 ft pulse cable) and AMR130AN or reading of Cell phone/PC may be more than the reading of meter due to exterior interference. With UL2464 cable, connection between meter, AMR130AN can be extended at least 328 ft, and at least 2000 ft between CC2030 and AMR130AN.

This meter is heavy duty. Not some cheap light material. Read some reviews about thread fittings. The adapters sent are needed to transition to US thread size as it is machined with British standards (slightly different than US standard). With that said, this meter works well, no leaks, and (judging from its heavy construction) will last for years. Also shipped sooner than stated. Very pleased with this purchase.

The meter leaked profusely from the safety wired brass nut so I had to return it. I was not credited for the original shipping and had to pay the return shipping costs.

I have had to replace several leaky old plastic meters. This one is strong and so far does not leak. You do need some basic plumbing skills to install.

Simple to install, easy to read, relatively compact.I did notice some moisture got inside the panel but the function is unaffected.
