In the 1970s, the idea of “folding green transportation” came to mind when Dr. David T. Hon was commuting to and from UCLA to earn his PhD in physics. Every day, he had to remove the wheel of his bike to stuff it into his car parked far away on campus. Years later, after pioneering laser technology with great success at Hughes Research Center, Dr. Hon gave up his budding career to finally focus on his vision for “folding green transportation”.

I was surprised at how poor quality the set screw was for the steering column. I actually wiped out. This was dangerous. Good thing that parked car was there. The set screw didn’t have a nut to hold it into place. Instead it had a screw that cut into plastic and didn’t hold well. The shifters were junk and a bit confusing at that. I own a Dahon Mariner, and was surprised at the difference 200$ makes.

Me compré otra bicicleta Dahon del mismo modelo en color negro que la entregó "Focus Camera LLC" ya que eran ellos la que la vendÃan. Llegó en perfectas condiciones.Después compré una bicicleta exactamente igual pero color azul en Dahon, enviada por Dahon. Llegó rayada en uno de los lados donde se pliega y también el caño del asiento vino rayado. Los cambios y el manillar no son los mismos, son totalmente distintos al modelo que tengo en negro y a las fotos publicadas en Amazon. Al querer desplegar la bici, en la parte central no llega a cerrar bien y hay que hacer mucha fuerza para abrirlo y cerrarlo. El cierre para ajustar el asiento vino caÃdo en la caja con todos sus tornillos y tuercas sueltos. El asiento no tiene el logo Dahon, parece un asiento genérico de China.Y la caja vino rota.Muy desilusionada, pensaba que por ser Dahon iban a enviarme la bici en condiciones excelentes y no fue asÃ.Espero que antes de embalar las próximas bicicletas no las envÃen si tienen partes rayadas, o por lo menos que le realicen un descuento en la compra al cliente por esos detalles.

Investigue y Dahon es excelente en bicicletas pegables. El cambio de velocidades no es el mismo que se muestra, se anuncia uno de shimano y con el que llego es otro original de Dahon lo cual a mi parecer es mejor ðŸ‘Feliz con la compra
