My daughter and I use this quite a bit to make ice cream from frozen fruit. It works well, is easy to assemble and clean. Just need to tweak my recipes.

It's just fruit. I love that each member of my family can choose if they want to add sugar, whipped cream, honey or my personal favorite: maple syrup. You can just leave it as is. Delicious!

I would rate this product 6 stars out of 5 if I could, and im not someone who hands out 5 easily.This is an absolute must-have item for anyone with young kids and a kitchen Aid mixer (also works with many other brand mixers -- see product descriptions).The product connects very easily to the kitchen aid mixers and assembles intuitively without needing the instructions (which are provided and clear if you did need to reference them). Fit the 3 parts together, insert in mix and tighten the thumb screw and your ready for desert!There is a recipe card but any partially thawed frozen fruit works great. Just thaw your frozen fruit for 10-20 minutes ( i found thawed to where its JUST starting to get a bit soft is perfect) drop the fruit in the top, and use the plunger to press it down. (if your child has one of those playdough toy ice cream shops this works the same!) and out comes a nice smooth frozen yogurt like desert.My kid (age 5) loves to make the desert which is safe and easily done. She loves the "ice cream" it makes and as a parent i love that there is no added sugar, its literally just ground up and smoothed out frozen fruit.The product is dishwasher safe but i cleaned it up in the sink in seconds as everything just rinsed right off easily.For the price, ease of use, kid friendliness, and healthy desert options you can not go wrong!

More like a 3.5 star. It really works best with slightly thawed fruits. If fruits are not thawed enough nothing much will come out of the tube. I tried pineapple, mango and banana. The pineapple came out with small pieces of pineapple (probably best to use pineapple with the centre missing) rather than the frozen chunks. The mango came out a bit soft, but I thawed it a little too much. The banana was in between, a little smoother but still with a few solid pieces. I think I will have to practice some more to determine the correct consistency.

Seems to be working fine but original one was missing parts. The replacement came with a beat-up box .......... obviously used ...... but the parts look fine. Just hope the parts are new, not used.
