I've had the same style dakine stop pad on ever board I've had. Good grip , low profile, they always look great. I mostly like them because you can separate the 3 pieces for a better grip.

I bought a new board and needed a stomp pad. I have this on several other boards and really like grip of the spikes when gliding off the chair lift. And the built-in scraper is nice to clear snow and ice off the bottom of your boot before stepping into the binding.

Black color looks nice against the color of my board. Having three pieces allows some flexibility in mounting, allowing to make the “footprint†of the pad to be somewhat larger if desired. Straightforward installation.

Absolutely happy with this product. Very easy to install and I love how you can make it as big as you want as you can see in my pic and made it so it’ll work with my whole foot not just the middle. Clean board with alcohol,Take a hair dryer heat up both the board where placing it and the back of product until nice and hot, THEN while continuing the heat after product hot I then peeled the clear wrap off the back which came off very easy with the heat, then heated up a bit more until nice and hot then placed on immediately, then stepped on it for a few mins not twisting, I did this in 3 parts 1 by 1 with all 3 pieces separately. Then weighed down with weights for 24 hours and they are as solid and tight as ever. Won’t be going any where. Would highly recommend this to anyone

I prefer the modular because I have Burton EST bindings and the channel can sometimes be right where you want to put the stomp pad. The modular allows you to put it on either side of the channel. I didn't even use the center arch bar and have both toe and heel side traction.
