Bought as a gift and was well received, was told it was easy to install on a sr5 Tacoma and holds longboard surfboards securely. Haven’t tried it for anything else but straps and buckles are quality and secure.

Works like a charm! Padding is in the right place and doesn't deform. I left this on my truck (2020 Colorado) for an entire week while in South Carolina during the hottest weekend in the state's history. Traveled 1,000 miles round trip with no issues at all. No discoloration either. The straps and tensioning buckle don't damage your tailgate or your board. Only pet peeve is that Dakine packages this item using twist ties. Looks like they punched some unnecessary holes in the product to use a twist tie.

This is the one, and only, surf pad you’ll ever need!! Super easy to install, and adjust. The is just right on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma. An adjustable strap lets you fit several surfboards. Made of super durable, and smooth material. Great price. Don’t think twice, buy it now!

Looks great works great.Update 12/2023: after a year and a half there’s definitely some worn areas that have been stretched to hook onto vehicle, but the net is still functional and looks fine. I’d recommend to anyone.
