This is a high quality canopy that looks beautiful. The fabric is good, not cheap looking. I put it above my daughter’s bed and she loved it but she would often touch it and accidentally sit on it so it ultimately snapped and fell onto her bed which is a hazard! I regrettably had to return it. I recommend this for a child at least 4 years of age who can understand it’s purpose.

This item exceeded my expectations. I was especially looking for something that would work with bunk beds when I came across this inexpensive drapery. The quality of the fabric is fantastic, and the hardware to hang it worked out perfectly. To say that my 12 and 9 year old daughters are happy to have this in their rooms would be an understatement. Excellent purchase!

This princess net is not a cheap net material that will rip the first time your child grabs on it. I was surprised at how thick and we'll made the material is. The hoop is rather large and the fabric is long. Gives lots of options for where you place it above the bed. I was very pleased with this!

I was skeptical being that the price was much cheaper than comparable items but as soon as I opened the box I could see the material was nice and it even came with what’s needed to hang from the ceiling. I would def buy this again.

I guess I just expected it to be able to close. I think the only way that could be a reality is possibly around a small child's bed. It seems well had though and I'm sure kids would have a ton of fun with it. If you're an adult trying to get creative it can probably wrap its way about halfway around a queen size bed if that helps at all.It was kind of annoying to make the bed under it, so if you can handle the annoyance of it getting in the way during chores like that then it'll probably reward you with the comfort of having it up. For the less patient, it may not be worth it though.

I got this for a purpose different than hanging over a bed, but if I am completely honest, I have ALWAYS loved this idea and wanted one for my bed. These things are just too cool! Most are completely tulle/mosquito netting; that this was not and offered a solid fabric along with a layer of netting is why I got it. I needed something to hang above me yet protect my back for voice recordings. You know, to absorb sound and help with quality of recording. Looking around there are some very expensive fabric booths that can be used, or foam that will then need to be suspended somehow... so I opted for this particular hanging instead. Tulle alone won't absorb the sound because, of course, the porous nature of it. Netting! But this one has a thin, solid fabric that encircles the whole thing and that, along with some other absorbers on my walls, should do the trick. It's not soundproofing, but soundproof isn't what I am going for. There are other Princess canopies on Amazon that have wider hanging hoops and I was tempted, but they are purely netting and I'm not sure how much weight they'd hold if I wanted to drape solid fabric from them. The closed top was also required, because what good to sound dampening if the hard ceiling surface was left exposed, too? Not that all voice workers worry about that part, but I do.So this hangs from the ceiling and is flowing enough to fully enclose me as a booth might. This isn't my permanent solution but for now and the next couple of years, I think it will work well enough. The only problem, really, is my cat LOVES this thing! She has never been so playful and simply adores attacking the folds and hiding in them! It's super cute but she does have claws and they snag. The fabric has held up better than I expected, so as a cat toy or tent, this is also a really good idea. She's a chonk though, so I am worried she may eventually yank it out of the ceiling. I did not factor in her attraction to this canopy when I ordered it. It does get warm but most recording studios do as you can't run a fan in them because background noise is a no-no. The thinness of the fabric helps a little for breathability. I chose grey and it IS dark, so I needed a light to read by in my little booth. This is a very awesome canopy, I think- versatile, pretty, so flowy! However you choose to use it -be it over a bed, as a sound booth or the ultimate cat toy- I think you'll be happy. I know I am! Highly recommended! (Pics are pre-hung but shows what I was going for.)
