I removed the old one and replaced it with this one and everything is working great. I did need the included adapter. Installation was pretty easy.

Needed a tub spout replacement and this installed easily with a great fit and secure seal. Shiny and new, my 60’s tub now looks fresh again.

I'm replacing the old spigot, that is probably original to the house(1969) and I was a bit disappointed that the metal was about half the weight of the original. I guess you should expect that, especially at this price point. It installed easily in just a couple of minutes with no leaks, so it is as promised. Looks great. I'm sure that I might need to replace in a decade or so, but for now it looks and performs well. Another win for Amazon.

The spout looks fine, I chose this one because of the installation video showing it being installed on a shorter stub with (what I assumed was) the included adapter and white extension pipe. All this item comes with is the chrome spout and a 1/2 inch threaded to 3/4 inch threaded adapter. No extension pipe. I have purchased several different faucet's,as my house is older and even the universal advertised faucets did not work and they were expensive and looked cheap. I can say this particular product was fantastic great price looks very nice!
