We're using the old compactor to crush commingled recyclables.I can definitely get two uses out of each bag if I also line it with some other plastic bag like a wood pellet bag or grain bag or even a large retail shopping bag. Transfer station doesn't take any bags so we just dump the commingled crushed recyclables into the dumpster and take the bags back home (eventually have to throw in the garbage).We use other tactics to preserve the compactor bags if possible, like putting glass bottles into plastic containers while crushing or lining the walls with plastic recyclables with glass in the middle...

Fits our compactor as described. You have to be a bit careful when inserting the bag into the receptacle as the bag can easily tear.Although the paper bags are plastic coated, I like the fact of reducing the amount of plastic bags going into the landfills

These bags are well worth the money and are of better quality than those I purchased at my local hardware store. They are easy to install in my trash compactor and they fit into perfectly!

I use these compactor bags back when trash compactors were all the rage. In the last decade, it’s been hard to find anything that is not plastic. I was delighted to find these, and they work just like the originals. Easy to insert easy to remove and so very functional.
