I ordered a few of these in different colors for my (almost) 5 year old for dance class. She has just gone into a size 6 and I ordered up a size so that she will hopefully still fit them next year as well. The fit is perfect! I’d say true to size. It fits her comfortably without bunching or drooping in any places. It is just a little long on her in the underwear section, but again I ordered it larger on purpose and this is not even noticeable or uncomfortable to her. The material is very soft and the sheer skirt twirls well. Very cute on! Easy to move in! My daughter can easily pull this up and down from the top to use the bathroom without assistance. I hand wash them with Woolite or a gentle detergent, ring the water out by hand and hang it in the shower to dry over night. Then I use a bit of fabric released spray the morning of dance class (or maybe an iron on lowest setting with a thin towel between that and the garment and only iron the bodice part would work too.) These are really pretty and seem to be pretty durable! I have received many compliments and had other dance moms ask me where I got them!

My granddaughter takes dance and likes having different leotards to wear but is particular about how the fabric feels. She really likes this brand and I have purchased her a few different colors all with the skirt and the stylish back crossing straps. They wash easily and last well. For the price they are excellent and come in a wide variety of colors.

Sometimes my granddaughter is cold at dance class, this is nice and thick and will be warm on those days when the studio is chilly.
