I bought these and they arrived the next day. So shipping was quick, especially with the holidays. I got the split bottom. Leather shoe. I’ve been a ballerina for 39 years since I started at 2, and these are no less comfy than any of my expensive ballet shoes. Fit is perfect, I’m a true size 8 for reference, and I ordered 8. I danced around in them and they have perfect grip and allow for flawless movement. Definitely recommend. Plus they cost hardly anything. Get them!

Excellent little shoes, came fast.At first I was concerned that the toes are identical but that's how ballet slippers are - they start out a bit tight in the toes and mold to your feet. And they have molded to my feet now! Not very tight anymore/ it's a little more clear where my big toe is in each shoe.My ankles/feet are very narrow so I was worried about the elastic being too long, but it holds pretty securely.The back of the shoe fits snug and doesn't rub - my heels are usually prone to blisters but I haven't even gotten irritation.The color is pale and on the warm, less pink side - I would say a "European pink." I got pale ballet pink ("theatrical pink") tights, and while they don't match the shoe perfectly, they match the elastic. Not to say the elastic doesn't match the shoe...it makes sense if you see it in person.Great shoes Danzcue!

I picked these up based on the reviews for a new pair of ballet shoes. I was definitely intrigued by the canvas shoes as I have always used leather. I am not a fan. They do fit small, but that is common with ballet shoes. However, the canvas is a very tight canvas with ZERO stretch to it. It felt like my foot was bound up in it, and I do not think that it will stretch with time either. The knit is just too tight. They are also not breathable at all. I wore them in my house for about 15 minutes (half of that sitting down), and my feet were already sweating. Not the best thing for dance shoes. Also the two pads on the bottom are not placed quite right and started hurting my feet within minutes. On the positive side of these... the are well made. The stitching is tight and I believe that they will last quite a while. Make sure to size up one size. I wear a 9 in street shoes, and after reading the reviews decided to go true to size, and they were a bit tight. They do however work fabulously for wider feet. The overall feel of the shoe itself is great though. I'm glad it has the ties unlike some other ones so you can customize it to your foot. The bunched toe in canvas is a slight bit off-putting though. All in all, I would recommend them to someone looking for a hard canvas ballet shoe that knows that they will not stretch like the leather ones.

I bought a pair of these last year and they fit perfect (true to my shoe size, which is nice since ballet shoes are often their own, screwy sizing system). The material is thin, which makes them comfortable and faster to break in, but they also don't last very long. Once I wore them out with several holes (didn't take long), I bought a pair of Bloch shoes that were super disappointing and uncomfortable, so I came back and bought another pair of these. I got the same size, but this pair isn't sized like the pair I got last year. They fit alright on the toes/heels, but the shoe is really baggy on top, even when I pull the strings tight. This is odd since I have high arches and wide feet--normally ballet shoes are tight on top of my feet. I only expect them to last a couple months (taking two hour ballet classes three times per week), but for the cheap price they are probably worth the investment. If you need a sturdy shoe to last you a long time, I recommend paying more money to a better brand.

Bought for an intro to ballet course in college, works awesome! Perfect for beginners, the base grips the floor well and the straps make it secure. You can tighten it with the bow in the front. Highly recommend.
