Introduction: I needed to replace my 2006 Mazda6 driver's window motor, which no longer operated.Pros: This device was a perfect fit and works great. The driver's window is now fully operational.Cons: None.Misc.: I'm not mechanically inclined. I watched numerous related videos to understand how to access and replace the window motor. The most challenging activities had to do with the removal and replacement of the interior door panel.Conclusion: I recommend this product.

This took me about 30 minutes to swap out for the broken window motor & my car was fixed! Do yourself a favor and find a youtube video showing how to remove the door panel before you start. It is hugely helpful to know where each of the tabs holding the door panel are.

To be Honest, I had gone through Multiple Sites to find an OEM or Acceptable Substitute for My Daughter's 2005 Mazda 3 Series (4-Door), in order to Find a Window Motor for the LF Door. That's the Drivers Door.Between the Sites, I found that the Location Nomenclature Did NOT Match, So Having 9 Years in the Car Business from Service, to Parts to Management & being Mechanical enough to have worked on All My Own Cars, I went with my Instinct & by Sight. When I got the New One, I took the door panel apart and VISUALLY MATCHED them up BEFORE I took it apart and it Looked Perfect. MANY TIMES, that's how we had to look for Parts back in the '80s. Sometimes when you looked up a part by code & gave it to the mechanic, they'd come back saying it was Wrong. So We'd Have To Rely on the EXPLODED VIEW and Match it up By SITE and it was ALWAYS a MATCH VISUALLY.So I Connected the Power Cord to the New Motor, OFF the Door to Make Sure it Worked, then proceeded to Swap it out. As I held it against the door, It wouldn't seat because the gear was in a slightly different position. So I attached the power cord, TAPPED the Switch and the Gear Would ALIGN ITSELF & SEAT RIGHT IN THERE. I now Locked in the 3 Mounting Screws & Tried the Window Up & Down a Few Times Again, Now that it was IN PLACE, Disconnect Everything, put the door back together, reconnect everything and One Final Test ... A perfect Match. 😎🤘ðŸ¼

If your window has issues going up and appears loose, gets stuck going up and does a loud vibrated sound when it's all the way up, This will fix it. Easy do it yourself task. just take out the cover to the door, unhook some wires that goes to the door cover and swap this piece, that's it. Ytube will show you how to take off the door cover.
