The valve seal remover tool is used to pull old valve seals and install new seals on overhead camshaft engines, it is for valves in place or removed from heads on automotive, motorcycle, marine, and power sports engines.
Product Details & Designs
Valve Stem Seal Plier
Include a 6”/15.2cm handle, 10.5”/26.7cm long overall to reach narrow spaces. Pliers jaws are serrated for extra grip, 5.5”/14cm max jaw opening.
Drive Handle
Knurled ends on 2” (5.1cm) adapters for tapping down the new seal and 6” (15.2cm) handles to provide extra grip.
Adapters
Precision machined seal driving adapters guide the seal for proper setting.
Seal Driving Sockets
Deep sockets for seals O.D. 10.8mm to 14.8mm.
The 11pcs kit includes essential components, such as valve stem seal pliers, a drive handle, deep seal driving sockets, and various seal driving adapters. The sturdy carrying case allows for organized storage and effortless transportation, catering to both professional mechanics and DIY enthusiasts.
Tip: Make sure to use one size smaller than fits into the valve stem guide. Otherwise the tool damages the new seal.

I was lucky where the pliers worked on both the Honda and GM LS seals I tried. 4 stars because the relief for the springs wasn't deep enough for the Honda and the rods don't fit well in the guides. I used a washer and the next size smaller for both heads.

Made the job so easy to remove valve stem seals and with the other install tools putting them back on will be just as easy. Had been using channellocks prior to buying this tool and there is a big chance of slipping off the valve seal and damaging the valve stem. Then if you haven't already you must remove the cylinder head to replace damaged valve. Probably be able to use in other applications where a good grip on cylindrical objects is required.

Sure you could use any pair of pliers and remove the Valve seals but this is a relatively inexpensive tool for the job which not just looks professional but also makes the job easier and quicker without having to worry with a slip of a regular pliers and potentially squeezing your finger or something lol.Worthy purchase.

The kit looks OK, but there were no printed instructions for the correct use of the tool. None of the valve spring lock clips adapters had magnets to keep the clips in place. One might just as well play Russian roulette rather than try to use this tool set. One lost valve locking clip and you're in big trouble. Amazon should require all materials bought through them to have an English users guide. I just may have to call or send the thing back...

It works, good clamping force on the pullers.Only complaint is the sizes are tight. The 6mm wouldn’t go into my 6mm valve guides. Had to use the 5.5.Just use hand force to install. I tapped one in and the spring on the seal pinched and broke.
