Very quick and easy!Be careful with removing the original plug/clip, it's a bit tricky pushing down the tab to release the clip, but if you're careful you'll get it. Then just plug in the new one, plug the mirror cable into the new harness, and then stick the new USB port to the back of your mirrow with the attached double sided foam tape. Then use the included short USB cable to connect your cam.Only downside so far is that the new harness has a bright white plug, and it currently hangs down a bit from behind my mirror. I think I'll try and wrap it in electrician's tape, and then work to tuck it up out of sight with a black ziplock or something.Overall very happy. Way better than running a LONG cable under all the trim and then popping out from under the dash to plug into a power port, or find a way to tap into power somewhere under the dash.

This was a very easy install on our 2015 Subaru Forester (yes it fits) and we were able to plug in a dash cam to keep it all tidy behind the mirror.My only complaint is that the lead to the USB output is WAAYY too short leaving you little room to stick it to the window. It simply wouldn't reach so we opted to adhere it to the backside of the mirror. The provided adhesive strip is also useless as the glue side stuck to the paper cover and not to the strip... I had a spare double sided tape piece that I used instead

This sadly didn't work for me. I was conflicted to rate this 1 star which I might still do. On the listing it says it works for highlanders with lane departure 2015-2022. I have a 2022 highlander that fits the requirements, and although this does fit the 12 pin my lane keep doesn't work once plugged in. Upon further investigation the OEM 12-pin a few more additional wires compared to the 12 pin of this harness. I'm not sure if I got sent the wrong product or not, but sadly I can't recommend this as a pick up.

This adapter facilitates the installation of a dashcam. I carefully removed the plastic trim surrounding the rearview mirror of my Ridgeline. Subsequently, I disconnected the harness and connected this adapter in its place. This adapter enables the utilization of a short USB cable to power the dashcam. Its performance has been satisfactory thus far.
