The speakers also need protection from the sun.The sun breaks down the speaker,which will cause loss of sound quality. Our material allows sound to come out without distortion,we believe making cutouts for speakers defeats the purpose of having a dash cover so we don't make openings usually!

Our 2007 Lexus RX350 has their infamous melting/cracking dash. Our car is past the warranty period and so we were faced with a high cost dash repair or fix it ourself problem. After considering several other covers I chose this one because it is inexpensive and does cover almost all the damaged area. As per the instructions you have to steam out the fold wrinkles first, and that was a bit of work and patience, but it turned out to work nicely. It provides a different surface look, so that is a compromise, but considering low cost, it is well worth it. It lays nicley and is cut to an almost perfect fit. All in all a great improvement. Now on to fix the original side window seal problem. Same defective rubber used. Shame on Lexus!!

I easily opened up the package and waited a couple days for all the folder markers were gone, and then I put on my dashboard. It looks 100 times better than before.

What I like about this is living where I live where the Sun beats on my dashboard and protects it and it looks nice

I was surprised to find how this dash cover mat provided me with an easy, completely perfect fit to cover all damaged surfaces. Now I have no more issues with the sticky and reflective surface of the dashboard. The mat looks great and smooth staying reliably in place. I am completely pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it.
