It fit the little space that the radio and the highlander trim piece was missing . The front usb works great to bring the usb plug from the back of my radio to where I can use it.

Fits great and works great. I installed this in my DD's car with a new multimedia receiver that has Apple Car Play. The receiver only has a USB input on the back of the unit. Since I needed the trim panel for this Toyota, I figured that this would look better than a USB cable running out from under the dash. Also this way we can switch easily between Apple lightning cables and Micro USB or USB-C cables for those in my crew that have Android devices (or even Apple devices with a battery pack that has Micro USB - this is my DD's situation). This kit transfers data between the phone without problem. Apple Car play displays the Apple Maps and / or plays Amazon music simultaneously with no data issues while the phone charges. It's a great product. I did have to modify the holes with a Dremel tool to match the holes on my receiver. The whole hole process only took a few minutes.

I chose this dash kit over the equivalent Metra for two reasons:1: Lower price2: It ships and arrives faster when buying from Amazon.The Metra may have fit the same, but I’m very satisfied with this one. Also, as others have stated, with aftermarket double-din stereos, it’s recommended to use the original stereo brackets for the best fit.

I used this in my 200 in the 8 FJ Cruiser with a Pioneer AVH-1440NEX and it looks good. My only complaint is that the mounting "fins" are a bit too fat; the fins must go between the factory steel mounting bracket and the body of the stereo, when you do that it makes the mounting bracket sit a bit too wide overall, and when you tighten the bracket to the stereo, it squeezes the fins and bends the Trim Bezel away from the body of the stereo. The result is there is a small gap between the stereo and the bezel, and it's hard to get the whole unit to fit in the mounting. I used a belt sander to reduce the thickness of the mounting fins and that helped. All in all it looks pretty good.

Easy to screw into the side of my pioneer double din. It git perfectly, blocked the space..looks great. 5 stars

First of all, this is -not- a dash kit, since it does *nothing* to actually mount or support your aftermarket Double DIN car stereo. Instead, it is meant to fill up the voids on either side of your new stereo, hence it is strictly a trim kit.Depending on your stereo, you may need to do some extra work to make this kit work out. In my case, my aftermarket Double DIN stereo has a tapered chassis and protruding screws. Also, because the Toyota/Scion OEM stereo mounting brackets are made from stamped steel, they have stamped protrusions which interfered with my stereo. I had to drill out the stamped protrusions, make clearance cuts, drill new clearance holes, enlarge existing holes, and use shims in order to get the OEM brackets to align and lay flush. I also had to bend/warp these trim pieces so that they would lie snug against my stereo.In the end, it all worked out, but don't just get this "Dash Kit" and expect everything to simply bolt up. Chances are, you will have some additional work to do.

Had I known that this product was this bad I would have made my own filler. You need to cut the crap out of it and any standard screws you might have that’s made for the radio is too short. Still have gaps between the kit and the radio. Junk!

Absolutely needed this to close the gaps on either end. I installed a 6.8†double din stereo and these pieces added the finishing touch!!

Perfect fit for 2007 N70 Hilux, and JVC KW-M750BT unit. Bolts that came with the cars audio unit mounting brackets were too short once the trim pieces were in place, so I just got some slightly longer ones and it was perfect. Was a little weary when tightening the bolts as the plastic on the trim pieces seemed a little cheap but once they’re in there’s no issues and definitely looks better than having massive gaps in the sides. Definitely recommend ðŸ‘ðŸ»
