Your cart is empty.This base plate is pre-drilled to fit the Makita XTR01 & Makita RT0701C Palm Routers. It's designed to help wood sign carvers to maintain better control of the router for finer detail carving in graphics and text. Each base is laser cut from clear 1/4 inch cast acrylic so you get a clear view of what you're cutting or carving. Overall measurement is 5" x 7.5". The center hole is 1.75" in diameter for better visibility. NOTE: The oversized hole will NOT accept "template guides". Each base comes with the handles attached. In most cases they are not made to work with factory made dust extraction ports.

Fit my router perfectly. Has solved a major problem for me in my typical application of a palm router. Nice company to do business with. Family owned and even included a nice note in the box. Would highly recommend!

This is a great tool for my trim router. The base is durable and makes it much easier to make precision cuts. Very happy and would buy it again.

Started making signs about two months ago as needed a replacement welcome sign and watching a lot of videos and have read a lot. Kept seeing these two knob setups and liked the reviews on this one. As soon as I tried it I was amazed at the accuracy improvement with two hands placed on the knobs and a nice pull router stroke . I did have to get creative on the dust collection as it initially conflicted with the left knob. Cut the output for the dust collection on the bandsaw then flipped the cutoff piece and glued it with CA two part glue and now have dust collection and accuracy. Great product and well made !

Fit my Makita router perfectly and definitely enhanced the stability and control when free hand routing designs and letters. Dust collection shroud can not be used but doesn’t matter because it will obstruct your view with or without this base. The knobs made my hands a little sore after 5 hours today on a large project but like guitar playing need to build some calluses. Thanks for the nice note , love your videos and keep up the quality products and professionalism!.. would like one for my Makita RF1101 router?.. thanks

Quality is excellent, as are the installation instructions. I had seen these bases on the maker's website and knew that I needed to get one for greatest stability on my new Makita trim router for carving wooden signs. Works like a charm to stabilize the router and gives one the complete control needed to accurately carve lettering. Highly recommend.

This family owned business is producing products like they did years ago. The router base plate was made with quality materials and fit perfect. I'm a retired journeyman carpenter and know quality tools and accessories when I see and use them.Order arrived early and carefully packed. I even got a thank you hand signed. Who does that? Really like this. The holes did not exactly line up with the screw holes on my router, so I had to enlarge one of the holes on the acrylic plate.

Should have rated this long ago. It adds a lot of stability to my Makita palm router. Would highly recommend.
