these really helped level out my sagging 4runner. I could have put in cheap rear springs, but did not want to as I will soon be putting in all new quality springs/shocks etc and wanted to save my money till I did it complete. With the sagging rear springs, this did level the car out and put a slight lift to it. The ride was much improved. I will add, for at least the 4runner, that the instructions are ok if maybe you have a lift. remove lower shock bolts, panhard rod, lower diffy, remove springs, install spacers, install new springs, some prying may be needed sounded simple enough..well first, to make it a a whole lot easier, remove rear wheels, then also remove upper connection points of sway bar links, this allows diff to drop even more and "flex". Removing the sway bar links made no "prying" needed with tools, was able to do it all by muscle

I installed these spacers in a 1999 T4R Limited 4x4 which came with the factory installed "99 Tall" springs. Although the springs weren't sagging unloaded, as soon as I put some weight in back, it would drop an inch or two. My first thought was to replace them with some OME springs but I was hesitant to do so because I didn't want to waste money if I decided to go a different route in the near future. Air helper springs also crossed my mind but I was worried about potential issues when the rear was fully flexed.Ultimately spacers we the cheapest option, and these in particular seemed like a good deal considering they are made here in Phoenix, Az, have a lifetime warranty and are made from a softer material than metal. They are also the only ones I found that were 1.5" instead of 2" or 3".So what comes in the box? 2 spacers, simple instructions and sticker with a warning about the vehicle being lifted making it more prone to rollover and such. After removing the wheels and putting the vehicle on jack stands, I only needed 12,14 & 17mm wrenches and the factory bottle jack. I live in Az and my T4R is an Az vehicle, so I have no rust issues to deal with, so penetrating fluid, breaker bar, etc. were not needed in my case.I started by lifting the axle as high as it would go from the center without lifting the vehicle off the jack stands. I then removed the lower shock mounts and moved the shock off the mount, unbolted the end links from the frame and then unbolted the panhard bar from the driver side. I then lowered the axle and jacked it up from the opposite side that I wanted to remove the spring from so that I could easily remove it.The spacer is placed on top of the spring (the orientation is obvious), then the bump is placed on top of it helping keep the spacer in place. I used the factory bottle jack and placed between the axle tube and bump stop. Then it was just a matter of raising it to give enough space for the spring and spacer to slide in. Do the same on the opposite side then move the jack back to the center of the axle housing. Raise it back up so that the hole for the bolt on the panhard bar lines up with the mount and put the bolt back in. Put the shocks back on the lower mounts and bolt them in. Re-attach the end links but don't tighten them all the was until the vehicle is back on the ground. And bam, you're done.

Like "OCD" said follow these steps and you should be done:The spacer is placed on top of the spring (the orientation is obvious), then the bump is placed on top of it helping keep the spacer in place. I used the factory bottle jack and placed between the axle tube and bump stop. Then it was just a matter of raising it to give enough space for the spring and spacer to slide in.I follow OCD's instructions (review from below) and it worked great for me. It was my first time doing this by myself and after the doing one side, the other side it's super easy. As you can see I was able to lift the rear end because it was sagging badly.

Installed on 2000 4Runner. I put in new struts up front which raised the front by over an inch compared to the rear. These raised up the rear to match without having to replace any other parts. I did as others have suggested - 1) jacked up car under axle and removed wheel, 2) disconnected lower shock mount and sway bar end link, 3) attached coil spring compressors on the spring and hand tightened, 4) placed jack stands under frame 5) lowered axle, 6) with the spring compressed like this it was really easy to slip in the donut between the bump stop and the spring, 7) raise up the axle and reverse process to reassemble.Overall harder than I thought it would be but not too bad. About 2 hours not hurrying at all. I'll update the review if I'm unhappy with handling characteristics over time, but a quick test drive seemed fine.

easy install but do one side at a time and jack up rear diff on opposite side to drop the side you are working on. You will have to remove link bar and 4 link bars on both side to drop diff enough to install them

2000 4Runner SR5 4wdReplaced front strut assemblies & rear shock absorbers. Truck was then sitting 1-5/8" higher in the front than rear.-Chocked front wheels. Jacked the vehicle up by the rear end about 18" off the ground. Jackstands under the rear frame. Removed bottom mount bolts from rear shocks. Pry them out of the way. Removed top fasteners from sway bar end links and flipped those down. Wheels and tires left on. Slowly lowered rear end. 2nd person pushing down on wheels, the springs came right out as is with a 24" prybar. Didn't use a spring compressor but definitely would make install easy. Placed spacer on top of spring then bump stop on top and thru spacer & spring. Pry, wiggle and popped the spring into place after about 15 to 20 mins of configuration of pry points per side. Reverse install disconnected rear suspension components. Lowered vehicle & measurements are now just about even in ride height. No noticeable stiffness to rear ride 50miles post break in. Totally satisfied!First 2 pics are beforehand. Last 2 afterwards.

Received package almost 2 weeks ahead of delivery date when ordering. Was exactly what was described. Very happy with product and shipping time. Very inexpensive and great quality. Installed in about an hour, but I work for the dealer so that helps. But is very easy to install and instructions are very straight forward.
