this was a direct replacement for a predecessor on our wood stove. our experience is all of these blowers eventually freeze up from wear. filters on them, no filters, conscious yearly cleaning...nothing seems to elongate their life in our experience. This replacement immediately ran SOO much quieter than the past morors. thrilled with that upgrade in noise reduction. time will tell. 1 season complete, and happy.

I bought this to use in a hobby spray booth and just tested it out. It was easy to add a grounded cord. It needs a 1/2 inch cable clamp to hold the cord in the attached box. The clamp cost less than $2.00 at the hardware store. The blower turned right on and was quieter than I expected and had a strong flow of air. I just need to build the spray booth and install the blower which should be more than adequate for this use.

This was a replacement for a motor that went out on my very old wood burning stove. Although I had to modify the fit just a little (simply attaching the flange from the old motor the this one with 4 metal screws,) it has worked wonderfully! It is actually much more quiet and efficient than the motor it replaced! My stove has a 2-motor system, so if (or when) the other motor gives up, I will definitely purchase another one of these for the replacement!

Excellent fan! I installed this into my Englander pellet stove- the larger one that Home Depot and Lowe’s sells, the results are quieter blower WITH increased airflow, can’t expect more than that! All for a reasonable price, I only used it for a half season last year and just started it up for its second season with no problems.

This blower is very quiet and it certainly moves enough air to be effective as the blower in my 2'x2' spray booth that I use for spraying nitrocellulose lacquer on guitar necks and bodies. It evacuates the overspray and fumes quickly and quietly. I do use a respirator, but anybody spaying nitro without one is playing with deadly chemicals expecting to cheat death. And they will lose really quick if they don't start using at the least a good respirator.

Man, It did took some time before I decided to get this blower but I'm glad I did. Not only that it does the job, its quiet too. I haven't actually calculate the exact cfm of this blower, but for a spraybooth with a dimension of 18x20, it does the job. It sucks air quickly and within 5 seconds, the fumes are out, experience may vary on how your spray booth is setup.

I use this for a desktop paint booth. Despite being close to my head when I work it is very quiet (think the hum of a desktop computer). Gives a strong pull for suction when I am painting. Have put maybe 100 hours on it so far with no issues...doesn't get too hot after running for a long time. The wiring was simple to do as well.
