Works perfect for my application. Used it on a four stroke Yamaha g14 golf cart. Eliminating the factory solid state voltage regulators that are always junk. This One I can fine turn where I want my voltage on the cart. The adjustment screw is very touchy.

This part's no good. My Club Car ran less volts than when the 40 year old original regulator was still on it. The reviews are misleading, because it shows like 4 1/2 stars, but if you read some reviews everyone one says it didn't work or failed very soon. People gave it 5 star reviews, even though it's junk because the customer service was good getting them a replacement. Customer service was good, I got refunded very fast, but still a bad part. And yes I tried adjusting it like many people on here said you might have to do.

I used this voltage regulator on my 1989 ezgo golf cart, should be reading around 13 to 14 volts when cart is running in higher ram, but would not exceed 12.2 volts , not enough to keep battery charged...
