I broke my old end cap trying to torque down the bolt on a replacement battery cable. This was a perfect fit, and works great. The clips work well to hold the brushes until you press it on, and pop out once you do. Makes installation super easy.Briggs makes an A and a B style cap, so make sure you get the correct one for your starter. One style has the metal tabs for the bolts flush with the rest of the end cap; that is a different one than this product. The other style has the metal tabs protruding, and they mate with cutouts in the cylindrical starter housing; that's this one. I installed this on a 23HP Intek motor starter, circa 2007.

Super easy to pop in and put starter back together. Took me less than 5 mins and less than 15 min to have it installed and running. So glad I tried this product rather than just buying another starter.
