Bought this starter repair kit to install on my 1988 Honda TRX 350D. I had considered buying a complete new aftermarket starter, but thought this might be easier (and cheaper). The rebuild kit contained everything I needed (and more) to get my old starter working perfectly again. I actually ended up not using a few parts in the kit, I used the brush holder and new brushes and I think after 30+ years that was what was worn out. I carefully sanded down the copper portion of the starter commutator shaft and used small pick to clean out the grooves between sections. Once I reinstalled the rebuilt starter, the 4 wheeler started faster and easier than it ever has!!!!!!!

Kit was great and literally included everything I needed to rebuild my starter! Rebuilt it and used my oem core and I feel much better about that than a total new China one. Starter actually works now so far. Will see after a while but my brushes were shot!

I really liked the fact this kit came with every part to completely rebuild my starter. I rebuild my starter with the kid and the starter is completely quiet and starts the engine as soon as you hit start.
