DB9 to RJ45 Console Cable
- Universal PC with RS232 (DB9)Male serial port to connect to Console (RJ45) interface for routers/switches and other applications
- It compatible with CISCO ,Juniper, NETGEAR, Ubiquity, LINKSYS, TP-Link, huawei, H3C, HP, 3com products.
- The console cable is a replacement data cable for reprogramming and updating compatible equipment and devices; can possibly be used to configure other networking devices as well.
Universal Compatibility

Had one Cisco Catalyst 3650, and picked up a Cat 2950, a Cat 3750, and two Cat 2960's. Needed to get past passwords & all that left behind, so bought this cable to connect to console port on the Cisco's. Works perfectly. All 4 new-to-me switches reconfigured to my liking.

There's not much to say about a cable that achieves the purpose in which it is designed. I purchased this variant with a serial connector and another of the same seller with a USB connector (USB serial adapter). Both cables function as intended.It seems well constructed and I get the impression that it could stand up to a little bit of abuse, not that I will attempt to test such claims intentionally.I like the design of the flat cable, and the periwinkle color makes it stand out visually against other nearby cables if it is left plugged in. The cable comes in a resealable bag and it is fairly easy to roll the cable back into a coil and place back into the bag for storage.I used them to program a Brocade ICX switch which uses a Cisco-type serial jack for programming, but I also have occasional run-ins with Cisco switches as well, so it will be nice to have these in my arsenal.

Works great and easy to use to connect to my console port. My laptop was able to recognize the switch when both RS-232 and DB-9 were connected. Great product and service.
