The PZEM-015 DC multifunction battery is mainly used to test all kinds of battery’s voltage, discharge current, discharge power, discharge impedance, internal resistance, capacity, dump energy, energy consumption and running time, and display the measurement data through LCD screen.

Display interface is large-screen LCD, it can display eight parameters at the same time.

Everything works as it said, no issues so far. Setup instructions were easy to follow. I am curious though what the maximum current (amp) rating is for the shunt itself without amp measurement function. I'm sure the shunt can handle over 300A?

This meter gives me an accurate real-time measurement of my RV house battery. I basically like the meter. It is easy to read and attractive.As others have mentioned, the spring-loaded wire connectors are unreliable and unsafe. I replaced the connectors with screw-type 3.5mm PCB connectors also from Amazon.As other reviewers have said the Amp-hour reading usefulness is doubtful. The meter doesn’t or can’t differentiate between discharging and charging. So the Amp-hour read just accumulates all current flow. One would need to reset the reading every time the charging cycle stops to get an accurate measurement of the battery‘s performance.I give it 5 stars because it works for my application and the hassle of replacing the connectors was not difficult for me. YMMV

Note: This review is for the 10A model with the built-in shunt. Although similiar, it operates a bit differently from the other models. First, thing is to understand their labeling, which is not great. Where it shows "Battery", this is wrong, consider that to be the "Power Source" regardless of where it comes from. It could be a battery, it could be a solar charger, or a DC supply. The other label that shows "Load" is correct, in that is where ANY load, including a battery to be charged is connected.Next thing to understand is that as others have commented, the terminal connectors on the side are both poorly positioned, and rather finicky. A spring clip is NOT a good design, way to easy for the wire to fall out. I placed mine into a housing box to eliminate any wires moving, and coming loose. Hopefully everything stays connected.Otherwise, I like this. The readout is clear, albeit a bit small. Seems accurate and corresponds to my volt-ohm meter and ammeter readings that are independent of this.

Works well for the most part. Current detection seems accurate.Voltage sensing at times is off by a half volt to 3/4 of a volt, showing the battery as lower than it actually is.The timer, battery capacity, and WH consumption must be manually reset every time you charge your batteries if you are using this as a battery meter. Charging through the shunt is counted the same as if you were discharging through it, it just adds to the counts. Kind of annoying. In my application this is used in a portable battery box and so I just clear those three settings manually every time I charge the batteries.The contacts for the wires on the display suck. They are a nightmare to deal with. Suggestion: Use tinned wires, that helps.Overall this works for me - essentially I needed something to track battery status and it does that job reasonably well.

10 hours in and it works great. Way better than my Renogy crap because it records time and cumulative power.

Lo compre el 6 de enero 2023, y lo conecté a mi chrysler town and contry 2016, funcionaba solo el voltaje bien pero el amperaje no funcionaba bien, hasta que compré, un teste de pinza, kaiweets, kc604 y comparé, y habÃa lecturas herrada , pero revisé las conexiones y todo estaba bien, entonces bi un video en YouTube y vi como se configura ,y lo configuré y todo quedó bien lo recomiendo 100%

The first unit I tried to adjust some of the setting as listed in the instructions. I pushed the button once and the screen display went dead. But the back light remained on Tried everything but could not get it to come back to life. Button appeared to be stuck or the button spring missing.Second one came up and the button actually moved in and spring returned when released. But as I was setting up the unit with the button, the screen went dead both display and back light. Checked electrical connections, even tried powering it from the alternate connection. Unit is dead. This one appeared to be used and returned as the packaging was not the same as the first.I'm a professional electrical engineer, and I am done with this product.Note the QC PASSED marked on the side of the box is part of the printing on the box. That appears to by the only quality action taken with these units.

Good product, actually better than I had thought. There description was pretty un descriptive. It works perfectly for the application I'm using it for. Would recommend

Installed this on a DIY batter box. Installation was very easy, and the readout is amazing. Good quality and easy to use the various functions. Let's me monitor my battery and other parameters easily.

It does some things well measuring only in one direction numbers but battery gauge works both ways. However new wire connection does not work well with ferrules and wire ends must be long to get a connection.It is amazing that the unit can not float up and down on Capacity which it does on battery visual. The remainder of meter in digital values is up only and there is no single press reset button which would benefit much more.It is good accurate meter compared to others that use a shunt. Just note the limitations.battery image will go up and down.. Meter digital values will not go up or down and have to be reset to zero in complex fashion.
