TruClose Regular hinges are ideal for child safety gates around swimming pools, childcare centers, schools, homes, playgrounds and hotels/resorts. These self-closing hinges will ensure no gate is ever accidentally left open. With child and pet safety in mind, our hinges are made from UV-stabilized industrial-strength polymer and stainless steel components for long lasting performance. The quick and easy tension adjustment can be used to adjust your hinges to the gate weight and the closing speed. Simply use a large screwdriver at either end of the hinge barrel.

Used it to replace hinges on aluminum gate, that landscaper broke. Works great. Easy to install, and look great. They are self closing.

Used this for a small gate to keep small dogs inside the garage. I fastened it in a different manner than the provided screws. The raised edge on one side allowed for proper positioning of the hinge. I liked the easy adjustability. A minor negative was that one turn on the adjustment changed the tension substantially. It would have been nice to have more increments on the tension adjustment.Overall it is a very good hinge and I would definitely buy it again.

These were perfect for a Fortress 36" steel deck gate, narrow enough for the narrow gate frame. Didn't even need to adjust the auto-close tension, was fine out of the box.

I’m had two gates that already had spring return hinges on them, they worked OK but if there was an type of wind the gate would not close. I purchased the 2 pack and added one hinge to each gate. On the lowest setting it sends the gate closed without any issue. Installing it was a breeze with the self tapping screws included.

Nice and easy to install. A bit creeky since there are springs and plastic. Able to handle the 50 pound gate. Nice light and easy self close. Recommended for small projects.
