As an absolute beginner, I found installing and tuning to be a snap. Strings have a nice sound and feel nice to play.

DM bronze strings last the longest and sound the best for acoustics. These strings will brighten up the sound of even a cheap guitar, and you won't believe the difference you'll hear. They far outlast the competition in terms of breakage. I replace my strings a couple times a year and usually all 6 are in perfect (but worn out) condition.

I tried these as a lower cost alternative for when I need to replace my strings more often and they sound fine.. A good value and I recommend them to anyone looking for a value in strings yet keeping good quality.

I use Dean Markley on all my guitars. I'm just a recreational player so a set of a string last a long time. Even after a year, there's no rust or degradation of sound quality. Lite gauge that I like tend to stretch a little over time so I tried medium gauge and so far no noticeable stretching or change in tone. Overall a solid string.

I was keen to try these but was so poor quality of the strings. They had a really tinny sound and did not stay in tune for longer than one song. After just one live setting, the strings were as flat as my usual Martin strings after a dozen live shows. They were cheap but that for me was a fatal mistake on my part. I won't be buying them again.

I tried these strings some years ago on an Epiphone... kind of... meh ...On a Gibson... MUCHO DIFFERENT! These strings look and sound somewhere inbetween 80/20s and phosphor bronze. They perhaps lean ever so slightly more to the 80/20 side, but with somewhat more complexity in the tone. They just sound much more 'vintage' to me than regular 80/20s. Had them on a week now, I play quite frequently every single day, and they still sound good and recordable. My guitar seems to really respond to them.
