Nice clear display with nice backlight. Calibration seems within a few dB, better than most cellphone "meters", adequate for casual use. Response in "C" mode is flat over most of the audio range. Two "flaws": the head rattles, giving odd jumps in reading; the self-noise level appears to be 38dB SPL, so it will not read very soft sounds, even a quiet livingroom.

I have no complaints. Seems to work great, not over complicated and has a fantastic backlight

I'm having to send this back. It is not clear anywhere but this is military time only. It was going to be my main clock in a large space but I don't use military time, nor does anyone I know who is not in the military, so this is worthless, at least to me.

At least 10 db off of calibration. Reads 10 db higher then all meters.

DC connector could have been some sort of plugin. Otherwise very nice unit.

Easy to set up and use. Seems accurate with the decibel levels, as well as temperature. One thing I didn't like is that it only displays the temperature in Fahrenheit (and it cannot be changed to Celsius), and the clock is a 24 hour clock (and again it cannot be changed to a 12 hour clock). The intensity of the display is able to be changed though. You can sit the unit on a table or you can secure it to a wall. 4/5

When the developers of this product were working on its design, they seemed to be of the mindset to simply combine in a single package 4 devices, namely a sound meter, a clock, a thermometer, and a hygrometer. Unfortunately when they designed the display, the product suffered from some of their design decisions. The following are my criticisms of the display:1. The thermometer only displays in degrees Fahrenheit. Even though one of the pictures in the listing shows degrees Celsius, there does not seem to be any switch that toggles between the 2 systems.2. The clock only displays in 24 Hour time as opposed to AM/PM. This is a minor complaint, but having to subtract 12 from the display in the afternoon is a bother that undermines the friendliness of the device.3. There is a "comfort" display for 3 temperature ranges - Green, Yellow (amber), and Red representing Too Cold, Temperate and Too Hot respectively. However the designers utilized the wrong metaphor in the selection of these colours - comfort should not be a traffic light, it should be a Goldilocks indicator. Too Cold should not be Green, it should be Red just like Too Hot is Red! Only the middle range (Temperate) should be the Green one.So in conclusion, this device fails to provide a user friendly display for conveying its information. I admit that the sound meter provides information that is not readily available on other devices. However, I think that a stand alone sound meter would be more appropriate for measuring specific sound situations than an omnipresent device constantly reporting ambient sound volume.
