I’m sure the globe measurements are accurate, but the globe itself didn’t quite fit our purpose, which was to use as a ‘Guest book†for an engagement party. But the colors are gorgeous, the stand is well made. And it’s a beauty.

Unbelievably cheap construction. Looked good initially, threw original packaging away. Placed it on shelf. A week later, removed the globe from the shelf to dust. I was cupping the globe with one hand and holding the base in the other. My fingers POKED HOLES IN THE GLOBE without exerting pressure. Every time it moved, more of it crumbled.In the return process, Amazon indicated the box and label would be "FREE" at UPS. No. It looked that way because the word "FREE" appears at the end of the line that says "Box and Label Needed". The shipping is free, I have to provide the box and label. Deceptive. The UPS store guy is really tired of Amazon customers falling for that.
