There are three sizes of 4 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch square photo holders:
4 inch photo holders: For items 5-10 inches in height and no thicker than 1.25 inches;
6 inch photo holders: For items 7-15 inches in height and no thicker than 1.25 inches;
8 inch photo holders: For items 9-24 inches in height and no thicker than 1.5 inches.
Pick the right size to better display objects and will not easily fall over.

Bought these for frames that were used for my son‘s wedding for various signs, etc. they were easy to transport and looked great and did the job, could be used for many different things.

I bought these to put some of my arcade sticks on display and also save some space, this hori fightstick alpha takes up a full shelf on my bookshelf if it's laying flat and I also lose all vertical space since I can't stack things on top of it. Works perfectly, feels stable. This size might be overkill for my mini stick and keyboards, but the whole set was worth buying if just for this one item.

I like the color and the way that I can stack them together to make them portable for when I attend art and craft shows. So far I have only displayed 11 inch by 14 inch stretched canvas on the stands, they seem to be very stable.

We ordered the 4" size and found that size to unsuitable for our needs. We wanted to hold up a couple of cookbooks, and these proved too small to handle the size and/or weight.In the correct size, these could work for your application, even though it did not work for me.

Does the job, thick metal. It doesn't have a buffer at the bottom so just need to make sure the metal won't scratch your surface.
