Home button installation step description:
The first step
Take out the parts as shown in the picture, separate them with your fingers, and keep the parts marked by the arrows in the picture.
The Second step
Tear off the circle gasket reserved in the previous step, and stick the sticky side to the button hole on the back of the touch screen. Please align and paste as much as possible.
The third step
Take out the buttons in the tool kit, as shown in the figure.
The fourth step
Put the back of the button up, and then put it into the button hole, as shown in the figure.

The fifth step
Take out the parts (waterproof ring) as shown in the figure, and tear off the protective film.
The sixth step
Paste the sticky side on the button hole, please pay attention to calibration. Through this step, the waterproof ring can initially fix the button cable on the touch screen, as indicated by the arrow.
The seventh step
Take out the part (horns) as shown in the picture. The two sides of the part are sticky.
The eighth step
Paste the sticky side of the part on the key hole of the touch screen, and the center of the part is aligned with the center of the key hole, and the key change is installed.
At this point, you can test and press the button to see if the button can be pressed normally. If there is no response when pressing, please check whether the installation of all parts is fully calibrated.

So I didn't read all of the description apparently because I didn't realize it came without install instructions until I had the item in my hands. I'm not an over techy person, but I was determined to figure this out. Photos and a thorough examination of my original home button helped me install this properly as well as pausing the YouTube video I was using for installing a new screen. Button works fine so far. The description is confusing as it states you won't have "click function" but I can do all the double clicks functions, just missing the Touch ID which I expected from reading ahead of time. I will update my review if anything changes.

even thorugh the product was malfunctioning (it was not connecting/one set of pin was damaged) the customer service did issue the refund. thank you Customer service A+

The only review is the 1 star!!! Where are all tje people tjat said its great??? I click on 5 star and it says none? Cable was not tje correct shape to plug in with out bending it which makes it not work
