It’s just idiotic how people complain how small it is, it says so in the description SMALL JAPANESE FRYING POT! Do your research before buying! It’s a Japanese frying pot. It is used to easily and quickly fry small portions of meat and fish. It perfectly fries boneless meat especially Karage. If you need to fry huge bone-in chicken legs at 375 degrees then buy a big cast iron pan or pot. It’s also perfect for frying korean style bone-in chicken legs, but make sure to buy small size, as you need to pre boil it if it is too big. It keeps the heat pretty well, and little to no oil splatter. The downside however, thus minus one star, is the cover. You do have to carefully clean the edges since it’s too thin. It might cut you.Other than that, the pot is a great product for it’s price.

Debated on buying another appliance - deep fryer - or simply a frying pot like this to use n my cook top. Glad I picked this! Great size and depth, and oil heats evenly and stays hot. It comes with a thermometer to monitor oil temp. And its very easy to clean!

I ordered a brand new one and received an open box one. I didn’t mind too much until I opened it up and it was missing pieces. On a side note, this is really small. Would take hours just to cook an average sized of any appetizers.

My mom bought it and so far it’s doing great. The design of the pot helps reduce the burn from the hot old when frying foods. However, you have to be careful while washing it since there are some sharp edges that can cut your skin if you have very thin skin.

Packaging was not good, packed in off shelf product box only, and the box was flimsy and damaged. The lid ring could more snugly, it shifts around a bit. I improved that a little by adjusting the lid hook in the front a bit. The pot its self works fantastic. It's easy to put together, easy to use, easy to clean (drain, ppt wipe and put in dishwasher). It truly does prevent splatters! I use a separate drain rack just so I don't have to move foods twice, but the little lid rack works good for small amounts. For storage it is simple and non-bulky, just like putting a medium size pot in your cupboard. MUCH better than the big bulky electric ones that hog counter space and are hard to clean (I've owned one). It is mostly stainless too, with a strong magnet barely sticking to the upper pot and lid/ring, the magnet stuck very strongly on the base where the pot is heated. The slightly misfitting lid ring is not a dealbreaker, I love it, and would buy it again.

The fryer was one of the worst I bought. Once you put in something to fry, the oil forms a massive foam an spills out the fryer. It creates a mess and exposes you to the danger of getting burnt.

Great stove top deep fryer, good size for deep frying enough for a meal, you could deep fry maybe 10 to 12 chicken nuggets at a time, the straining rack is good to let excess oil drip off before moving to a plate. Is easy to clean once you take it apart, we put it in the dishwasher.
