So I own a legacy Cricut Cake Mini. I wanted to use it to make some stencils for use with food. Found out the deep blade housing for Expression/Create fits. Elated to report that it indeed does! Now, because of the differences in the machines, I am not sure how thick of a material it would cut because the clearance doesn't seem very big. But it worked out perfectly for my stencils.

I had a used Cricut machine I got in a yard sale. It had no cutting head. This replaced it perfectly. I bumped up to a bigger version of the same older machine and it too works in it very well. Not disappointed at all.
