So, the sleds arrived as I was on my way out the door to go hunting. I threw the box in the truck and headed out. My spot for the day is approx. 20 acres of mainly cedar trees in the back corner of a large cornfield. I was only allowed to drive along the very back edge of the property to get to the location. The sled came with a bag, but the strap was too tight to sling it over my coat so I left it in the truck. As luck would have it, I downed a deer about a 10 minute walk from my truck around the edge of the field, and about 100 feet inside the tree-line. I walked back to the truck to grab the sled. When I got back to my deer and I opened the package which contained two handles, four ropes, and two sleds in the roll. There were no instructions and I had no idea how it was supposed to work. I just unrolled both sleds stacked on top of each other and my buddy and I rolled the field dressed deer onto the sleds. We kinda winged it when tying on and criss-crossing the ropes through the grommets. I also wrapped the rope around the legs to help hold them in. I looped the second rope through the front holes and attached the two handles. I tried to pull the deer by myself (about 130lbs field dressed) but the knee high grass made it really difficult. My buddy took one handle and I took the other and between the two of us we were able to drag it back to the truck. It was easier to drag once we got to the cornfield and were dragging it on dirt. We had to stop three times and change sides and take a break. We also were able to use the sled to lift the deer into the truck bed. Afterwards, it washed off easily with water. There were scrape marks on the bottom from weeds, some barbed wire, and the corn stalks, but nothing damaging. It looks like it will hold up to several uses. After getting back, I looked up the amazon page and saw the instructions for use and that each sled is rated for different weights. One side is supposed to be smoother than the other for sliding, but I really couldn't tell much of a difference.I am a 5'5" 135lb woman. I don't lift weights, but I do a lot of farm work so I'm not weak, but I don't know if I could have dragged it that far by myself. My buddy is 5'11", about 190lb man who does HVAC so is used to lifting an maneuvering heavy equipment. He said it would have been difficult for him to do alone, but he believes it would be doable. He said he would have probably done it with a waist strap by himself. The next time we went out, I picked up the bag and the handle tore away from the bag. it wasn't a big deal because this time we were taking out crossbows so I just put it in my crossbow backpack with the intent of putting the crossbow in the pack if we got a deer. I asked my hunting buddy his opinion and he said it was definitely something he wanted to keep as part of his hunting equipment.

Set of 2 deer sleds that are very easy to assemble. You just have to attach the ropes along the sides and to the top of the sleds. The sleds roll up nicely and can be attached to a hunting pack for easy transport. You can have a deer on the sled and keep it there securely using the ropes by criscrossing the ties to hold the deer in place while dragging. Also good to keep the fluids in the sled while transporting and makes for an easy cleanup. Simply rinse the sled off with water and roll it up for storage. Great for solo hunting.

Bayattoo Set of two deer drag sleds work well. They did not come with instructions but it is pretty easy to figure out how to use. I had to place something on the sled to keep it in unrolled to place the deer, once the deer was in place I was able to run the rope through the holes to secure the deer, I then attached the pull handle, and was able to drag the deer with ease, it went really well in the snow. It was very easy to clean after using. The plastic is a tad thinner then expected so not sure how long these will last, but so far I am pleased.

So to be fair it does make dragging easier, but upon the first use the metal ring that holds the handle snapped and the metal eyeholes in the plastic drag started to rip out.

This really does help offset the weight of what you are trying to drag out of the woods.Compact so can be placed on your pack with your sleeping bag and the ropes tossed in your bag. Easy to set up and use for big game, fire wood and the friend that just rolled his ankle 5 miles from the car.The thick plastic helps insulate from the ground saving the meat from bruising as well helps slid over rocks and debris as you walk towing it behind. Not some light weight flimsy film that is one and done, roll it back up and put it back on your pack for the next hike in the hills.I have one in my pack now and one in my son in laws pack, little weight added to our gear bags but confident these will get used more than we counted on for all sorts of tasks in the woods.

This is a handy drag to have on hand when hunting. It rolls up pretty small and is easy to carry. The tarp and ropes are very sturdy and can handle most deer. It works well on flat ground. It will get snagged on rocks and brush though, so be aware of that.

I pulled 50 pounds of game just over a mile. The terrain was rocky in parts but mostly prairie, with some gravelly sections. The grommets held but the sled ripped apart. Thankfully I had double bagged my meat or it would have been completely ruined. I won’t be buying again

A great set of drag sleds. Heavy duty, slick plastic, with sturdy metal grommets, and plenty of rope to tie down all kinds of stuff. The pull handles have snap hooks, and are well padded for comfort.I haven't had a chance to recover a deer with them yet, but one of these sleds remains in my hunting kit for my next harvest. If I get a big racked buck, I may have trouble keeping the antlers from dragging on the ground if I lay the buck on its side. Maybe I will try to lay it on the sled belly-down to try and keep the antlers pointing up.The orange sled doesn't want to stay unrolled. Maybe it's thicker than the black one, I don't know, but the black one is the one in my kit, because it's easier to work with. The orange one immediately coils back up into a roll, and it's kind of annoying. There are countless other uses for sleds like these. I will probably use the orange one to pull stuff behind my Polaris Ranger, while keeping the black one strictly in my hunting kit. These are awesome for the price, and can be used for many things other than hunting!
