Bought another brands version of these brackets for a deer condo build and those seemed as beefy as you’d need for a pretty large structure. These aren’t as beefy. Having said that, depending on the steel they used, these may match up or exceed the other manufacturers set. So I think they’ll work for what I need? Yes. Do they have to be Cat 4 hurricane ready? Not for me.Overall quality seems good. Bends are crisp and identical. Paint seems fine. When I get around to putting them to use and if the come up short, I’ll add to the notes and take off stars.

Earlier this year we built a raised platform for one of out hunting locations. We had tried to use just a pop up blind there, but the grass and shrubs were too high to see deer at times, and it was very hard to see wild hogs, which are low to the ground. We didn't have time to build a hard sided blind in that location, so we built a platform about 4 feet high and secured a pop up blind there. The brackets are very strong and easy to use.

great sturdy brackets at a lower price. worked great on our newest deer blind. however, shipping was SLOW!!! ordered 2 sets...received 1 SET on the last day of the "shipping window"....and then had to wait almost another week to receive the 2nd set.may have been worth the 10 bucks saved to get another brand quicker!!???..

These brackets make adding a stand to your box blind a little easier. They feel well made and the coating is nice. Functionality wise, they fit the"4x4" we used well and the angle it create gives stability to the stand base. This is a good value if you are building a tower blind, we did a 6' base and it saved us time and it feels sturdy.
