I tested 5lbs over marked draw weight. Absolutely beautiful bow for the price. Would recommend and buy again.

The draw weight on this bow, at only 25 lbs, is pretty close to spot on. This is my second Deerseeker bow and I will probably get a third as my exwife has commandeered the 54" version. This is a good bow for backyard shooting or varmints. The only thing missing is a stringer, which I recommend even at this low pull weight.

Bamboo does make a really fine bow. It draws smooth with maximum speed. The Hill bows which I owned had a lot of hand shock. The reflex deflex design seems to disapate the handshock nicely. My50# bow was actually 50 pounds. (truthfully it is 49 pounds but close enough) I tied a nocking pointat 1/4 inch above center. I shoot full size wood arrows spined for 75#. The arrow flight was OK whenI was careful with my releiase. The flat arrow shelf may need to be build up some. The grip felt great! It is a Hloward Hill grip down to the leather rape. It has been said that it is nearly impossible to gripa Hill bow the wrong way.Now is probably a good time to buy inexpensive foreign bows. The theatened tariffs on China might killtheir bow sales. As they say in Texas, "Buy a bamboo bow from China, starve a Panda."133

I have been in the market for a quality affordable longbow for almost a year I have probably purchased at least 6 longbows everything from the bear Montana to the Sanlida royalx8 68 inch and more. I have not found the quality I’m looking for then about week ago a bow I had ordered arrived. The first thing that caught my eye was the packaging it was very professional and protective to keep the bow safe during delivery. Then I opened the box what a beautiful bow !! I immediately strung it up tuned it and begun to shoot it. I am a competitive archer I shoot everything from IBO,ASA,LAC, USA And Nfaa I have won 3 national championships and more not to brag. The reason I included that in my post is so the beginning archer and more can trust I know archery been doing it for 40 years . The draw cycle on the Outlander is smooth I got a 35lb bow it felt like I was drawing back 25 lbs. upon shooting the bow i immediately noticed its very quiet and little to no hand shock. I did put limbsaver limb dampeners on it and now it’s as quiet as a church mouse. It seems like a fast bow once u shoot it a few times. I put it on the chronograph and my draw length is 28inches i measured it over 12 shots the average speed was 168 fps . That’s very good for a longbow at 35lbs.In closing I highly recommend this bow to all ages, sizes and gender. You won’t be disappointed at the cost or the performance of this bow!!
