I needed a hose for my dehumidifier that was relatively short to reach the nearby drain hole by my sump pump. This hose got the job done. It’s a fairly sturdy and strong material, the hose is quite stiff, a little bit too stiff because it was hard to coil it and bend it certain ways. The 3/4†connector is solid quality and doesn’t feel cheap, love that it includes a gasket since I got a hose before that didn’t have a gasket and it constantly leaked. This is fairly great value for around 10 bucks you get the hose, water proof sealing tape, and the two gaskets. The only minor negatives with the hose are the stiffness and it has a strong plastic smell that is lingering in my basement because of it. But really good value love the quality of the hose for the price.

Here, a dehumidifier is a must, especially after four weeks without electricity and counting. If you can find a source to plug yours in, this hose is sturdy and allows continuous drainage. Using the plumber’s tape is a must. I recommend cutting o best length for you. Considering sticking down the kitchen drain. However, most dehumidifiers do not have a pump so you must be sure the water flow in entirely downhill. The kitchen countertop can work well.
