Really nice looking, high quality unit, but instructions are confusing. Needed to have much better explanation of how to install in a linear fashion. Some dumb things like some of the cutout dimensions are in metric and some in inches. Not a big deal, but an idea that the rest of the instructions are pretty discombobulated too. Took forever to align the catch in the door frame with the lock in the door. Maybe a cabinetmaker or professional carpenter would be able to align these easily, but for a (fairly good) DIY guy like me, it was a pain. Like you have to align the moving door to the fixed catch within about half a mm for the door to latch correctly! Took me a good chunk of a day to install this, I was planning on 1-2 hours. But once installed, a good product for sure.

Love the way it looks. Works solid. Need a little handy man skills to install. Only minor issue is to have the option to lock going clockwise, for me that would have been more intuitive instead of counterclockwise to lock.

We had purchased an interior sliding door and wanted to be able to lock it. This fit the bill perfectly. It was easy to install and now keeps the door from rolling open. It’s a sturdy lock and big enough to make it easy to use. Good value for the money.

I was hoping to have a simple lock mechanism for our pocket door, this looked like it would do the trick. It is just overall cheaply made, I regret buying it. If you tighten the screws too much the lock wont work, if you loosen it then the entire mechanism becomes wobbly. Just overall poor design

Even though the description says "...with Edge Pulls" the 3 we received did not have edge pulls. These were installed by our carpenter, and they do not fit snuggly in the door. The flanges are spaced thicker than the door by about 1/16 of an inch and they rattle when you touch them. They do latch nicely.

Best pocket door hardware I've used. I didn't use the door pull as my door sticks out enough to grab the edge easily, but this makes it prone to fingerprints. Uses standard 2 3/8" backset. Came with 3 lengths of screws for door thickness. 1 3/8" door used the shortest screws. The lock has a satisfying clunk when engaging. Slightly difficult to unlock from outside, any flat screwdriver or coin makes it easy enough (as is the design of a privacy lock).

Très satisfaite de mon achat. Contrairement à ce qu'on voit dans les quincailleries grande surface, le mécanisme de serrure et la prise en main sont beaucoup plus grande, confortable et pratique. De plus, il y a la poignée incluse dans l'emballage servant à ramener la porte en cas de dépassement dans le mur.

Great quality, very attractive product. Really love it, much nicer than standard pocket door system. The handle/pull is a separate system from the lock area, and needs to be installed above or below the handle area, so need to notch door for it separately. And need round standard door hole in door for use.
