Bought this pump and was using it to provide water to our RV from water totes. Had the pump completely housed and insulated from the weather. After only two months of use it over heated and the wires melted on it. Did some research and there is a video on YouTube that explains exactly why this happened. The wires are under sized for the amount of current it draws. Luckily it was not installed directly on our rv or it could've turned out worse.
