Valve failed after a few weeks. Valve seat is loose, causing leak when closed and blocking flow when open. Replacement was sent and it failed in an identical manner. Bad manufacturing lot?

I had the dreaded egr code on my Explorer. This valve was a direct fit, installed in about 20 mins and worked perfectly. My rig runs better, has no engine light and burns a little less fuel (not much less). Delphi is an OEM supplier, so while a little more expensive, certainly worth it for me.
